Hapoel Beer Sheva has a new coach – Roni Levy. The 54-year-old coach returns to the Premier League about six months after he was fired from Beitar Jerusalem. He is taking over the reins at BS which has been without a permanent coach since Yossi Aboksis resigned at the end of last season. Aliniv Barda served as interim coach, but informed Alona Barkat that he would continue as assistant coach and the owner chose Blau.
The BS statement said: “Roni Levy has summed up his terms and will be the coach of Hapoel Beer Sheva. Levy will sign a contract for a season and a half and begin training after completing his isolation days. “Aliniv Barda and Maor Melikson will continue in their positions as assistant coaches under Roni Levy.”
