Rolls-Royce will see a $ 2.74B cash outflow in 2021

Rolls-Royce Holdings PLC said Tuesday it expects free cash outflows of around $ 2 billion ($ 2.74 billion) this year and warned that more contagious viral changes are creating uncertainty. more.

The British aircraft engine maker said its cash outflow forecast for 2021 is based on the expectation that broad engine flight hours will be at around 55% by 2019, compared to the previously reported baseline case of 70 % of 2019 levels.

The company said coronavirus-related restrictions are delaying the recovery of long-haul travel than previously expected, putting additional pressure on customers and hurting cash flows themselves in 2021.

Rolls-Royce said it is expected to put a lot of pressure out of the money this year in the first half, and still expects to turn cash flow at some point in the second half.

The company said its performance in December was in line with expectations and free cash flows in 2020 were in line with previous guidance. Last month, Rolls-Royce said it expected a cash outflow of GBP4.2 billion for 2020.
