In an interview with BBC Breakfast on Monday, he asked that he had not ‘heard’ about anything special to come – ‘if they don’t do it’ without him.

‘It was so funny watching that last year, especially at the end with the suggestion that surprised people. It was so beautiful to be a part of that too. ‘

He went on to explain how Bryn’s Christmas would be different this year among Covid-19’s strict safety rules, saying he would not be able to ‘cook for more than 12 people’.

The actor continued: ‘I was cooking Christmas dinner for, plus – what it was – 12, I don’t remember now. What would he do now? I’m cooking Christmas dinner for myself! ‘
