Road accident in the south: A 20-year-old man was killed in a car overturn at the Tel Arad junction

Carnage on the roads: A man in his 20s was killed in a car accident after his vehicle overturned on Road 80 in the Negev, near the Tel Arad junction. MDA teams that arrived at the scene provided medical treatment to five other wounded in their 40s with varying degrees of injury, between moderate and mild. The wounded were evacuated to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva for further medical treatment.

MDA paramedic Amiram Mualem said: “When we arrived at the scene we saw an inverted vehicle on the side of the road and next to it lay 6 wounded, a young man in his 20s was unconscious and suffered a very severe multi-system injury, we performed medical tests, he was without signs of life and we had to determine His death on the spot. “5 other wounded were conscious and suffered injuries to their bodies, we provided them with advanced medical treatment, took them to ambulances and evacuated them to the hospital when their condition was moderate and mild.”

As you may recall, last night two people were killed on the roads, in trampling incidents involving trucks. In one accident, a 38-year-old motorcycle rider lost his life in Petah Tikva, and a 40-year-old electric scooter rider on Hamsger Street in Tel Aviv. The victim is Dr. Shimrit Perkol-Frenkel, an award-winning marine biologist.
