The 15th round of the Winner Basket League for Women came to an end tonight (Monday) when four games were played and in focus, Hapoel Rishon Lezion defeated Maccabi Urbani Ramat Gan 69:76 and AS. Ramat Hasharon defeated Hapoel Petah Tikva 78:82. In the other two games, the Herzliya girls defeated Maccabi Haifa 97: 107 in overtime and Ashdod defeated Raanana 74:92.

Maccabi Urban Ramat Gan – Hapoel Rishon LeZion 76:69

The girls from Wine City completed a double league win over the champion. Sydney Wise finished her debut game in the Rishon LeZion uniform with 18 points and 7 rebounds and made the difference along with Eden Tsippel (19 points) and the great Chelsea Nelson who finished with 24 points and 12 rebounds. A huge evening by Kayla Hillsman that ended with 31 points and 13 rebounds were not enough for Ramat Gan.

Hapoel Bnei Petah Tikva – AS Ramat Hasharon 82:78

Crystal Bradford returned to the Israeli league and helped the visitors complete a double league victory over the group from the mother of the colonies. Bradford finished with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and upgraded Ramat Hasharon to the highest levels. Jocelyn Willoughby provided 21 points on the other side but that was not enough unfortunately.

Maccabi Haifa – Herzliya girls 107: 97 (after extra time)

Victoria McCauley in a huge evening that ended with 36 points, 17 rebounds and a 50-point index, along with 28 points and 12 assists from Marina Maverie, led the girls from Sharon to victory after overtime. A big evening of Fionda Fitzgerald with 37 points did not help the Greens.

Maccabi Ben Ashdod – Maccabi Raanana 74:92

The Port City team had no trouble at home and enjoyed a double-double on the part of Kadija Kiev with 26 and 12 rebounds and Alexis Peterson with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Kayla Davis’ 30s on the other side were short of saves.
