Resurrection looks amazing in its BlizzCon 2021 trailer

Of all that Blizzard has revealed during its 2021 BlizzCon aka BlizzConline, perhaps the most impressive is the first play trailer for the Diablo II remaster, Diablo II: Resurrection.

It is a bit misleading to think how long it has been since the original one came out. I started playing this series with the original one Diablo launched in 1997. Diablo II released shortly thereafter in 2000. That’s nearly 21 years ago.

Diablo II came out 12 years before their launch Diablo III and there looks likely to be another 12 (or more) year gap between him and her Diablo IV which still baffles me. Diablo really the Game of Thrones of video games, and Blizzard the George RR Martin.

At times I think Blizzard has no interest in money; other times. . . well. We just hope so Diablo II: Resurrection there is no other Warcraft III: Confirmed.

In any case, this is the Diablo II: Resurrection a trailer that looks awesome. I can’t wait to sink my teeth in this one. I was 19 when the original one came out, and I will be 40 (or nearly 40) when the remaster explodes on my PC in 4K / 60fps.

The game will be cross-referenced, meaning you can play on PC and then continue with the same character on a console, but you will have to buy separate copies on each platform, as it seems Call of Duty. Unlike the Activision shooter franchise, Diablo II I won’t have an overplay, at least not immediately, which is a big embarrassment as I was really looking forward to playing this with friends who are all on different platforms . C’est la vie.

On a clearer note, all DLC in it includes the Lord of destruction, so there will be plenty of game to explore, monsters to break and loot to discover.

You can opt into the Diablo II: Resurrection Alpha Technical here.
