Results of the elections to the 24th Knesset

The Central Election Commission is publishing tonight (Thursday) the results of the elections to the 24th Knesset (almost final). These results are published after numerous and meticulous examination and control procedures that it has performed and continues to carry out by the Central Election Commission. At the same time, these are not the official results, and the official results will be published on Wednesday, March 31, 2020, and will be submitted to the President of the State.

Over the next few days, until the publication of the official results, the committee will continue to conduct a series of additional tests on several levels:

1. Operation “Election Purity Procedure” – So far, 500 polling stations selected according to various parameters have been tested, and hundreds of additional polling stations are expected to be tested for the first time in parallel with the vote counting operation. As part of this procedure, complaints received during the election day and during the last few days from the public about attempts to harm the purity of the election are also examined, including reports from the Israel Police and reports from the Patrol Inspectors of the Election Purity. In this framework, hundreds of applications have already been examined.

Examination of inquiries on behalf of the lists of the various candidates.

3. Continue to control the results – In this framework, tests are performed to detect typing errors, statistical tests and anomaly tests.

It is clarified and emphasized that all the aforesaid tests may have implications for the final results, and therefore the results published here are still subject to changes and adjustments.

The following are the results of calculating the seats:

3.25% (blocking percentage) of the number of valid votes: 143,311
