RESULTS: Nutritionist Munmun Ganeriwal points to helping Taapsee Pannu get an athletic body for Rashmi Rocket

Taapsee has made headlines for her body transformation for her next Rashmi Rocket film. Her animal Munmun Ganeriwal poured the beans on how she helped the actress look the part.

Rashmi Rocket is Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s next film. The actress has been sharing her body transformation on her Instagram page and everything she is doing to achieve it. But it’s not just her workplaces that make Taapsee fit for the job, it’s her diet and nutritional intake as well! We contacted a well-known nutritionist and lifestyle consultant Munmun Ganeriwal, who has been helping Taapsee prepare for his career.

How long have you been preparing Taapsee for the role for Rashmi Rocket?
I started preparing Taapsee for an athlete career in Rashmi Rocket in September this year. The burn has started in November so the plan was to change her body in 2 months. Along with the transformation of the body, I have been focusing on her strength and endurance so that she delivers the best performance while doing the races fired in the second table. at Ranchi in December.

For all those who have been inspired by her to be slimmer and healthier, I would like to point out that what they see is not just a 2-month transformation. One cannot live a carefree life and then one good day, imagine the transformation of the body (as it is) in just two or three months. It is too long to dream. I’ve been working with Taapsee for a few years now and I can take a look at the controlled lifestyle she’s been living all these years. Ever since we’ve been working together, her diet no matter what her busy schedule has always been based on home healthy eating. No fad dieting no trendy diet; or low carb or low fat foods; just ghar kaa khaana simple.
Her gut has been ‘conditioned’ or ‘trained’ over the years so much so when she started training for Rashmi Rocket, she didn’t have to go through gastrointestinal distress (heartburn, nausea etc.) – often referred to as ‘trots runner’ – which is common during higher exercise times and in athletes. In terms of exercise too, she has been working out consistently since I first met her. She loves to play squash. So we would alternate her squash sessions with strength training gymnastics routines that I would design for her. Over the years, I made sure to include weight relief practices like ‘Yog nidra’ as part of her lifestyle. So, when the first record was fired when she was asked to run again during the day, I suggested she continue the practice as it will help her calm down and recover faster. In simple words: both her health and fitness have already been at an excellent baseline level and all that was necessary for Rashmi Rocket, was to take a few pounds higher. .
Coupled with the fact that Taapsee is very dedicated and hardworking, it was quite possible to achieve in the short time of 2 months available to us.

What were your main challenges when Rashmi Rocket was ready?
Taapsee is one of the busiest actresses in the industry today. Her calendar is ‘chock-a-block’ all year round. While that is a good thing, it is becoming increasingly challenging to keep up with its rapidly changing schedules. From my practice, I have also trained real athletes, I am aware of the lifestyle they follow. When one compares them to an actor, it is clear that there are more challenges in preparing an actor who wants to reproduce an athlete for cinema than the athletes themselves.

For Rashmi Rocket, Taapsee has been training as an athlete in the morning but later lives an actor’s life. Her day ahead is full of 12-hour shooting, film inspiration etc. There will be times when she burns all night. All of this can detract from the progress she is making in her fitness game. This is where the right diet and ingredients come in handy. I design them keeping in mind not only her training system but also in a way that helps her get through the day, her muscles get enough so they are ready to burn. up the next day. Also, while she’s been preparing for Rashmi Rocket, she’s been shooting for other films at the same time where she wouldn’t want to look like an ‘athlete’. So her diet had to be planned in a beauty-conscious way, she was able to move smoothly from one career to another.

How much of a good role do diet and exercise play in the bodybuilding of athletes?
Whether it is ‘lean mass’ or ‘zero size’, diet (food & supplementation) plays the major role of 70% while exercise is 30%. A direct Google search may reveal this fact. The so-called 70/30 rule is very much. When the body is not properly supported by a good diet, it is not possible to reach your peak and get the most out of your workouts.

Unique points in the Rashmi Rocket diet you gave?
The norm in a ‘fitness world’ is to look down on kaa khaana gar, and go for unpleasant and inedible food like oats in the morning, a bowl of daal & boiled veggies for lunch, grilled meat for dinner, raw salads as a snack. Most believe that food made in an Indian kitchen does not deserve to be included when an athletic body is slim. Packaged products labeled as low fat, high protein (read: protein bars etc.) and keto flexible foods made exclusively with brands that reach tons of silver have become the latest diet trend . But against all this, the Taapsee diet, as usual, is still based on simple, homemade food. She is on a diet that contains the right balance of carbs (rotis, rice, sourdough bread, sweet potatoes), proteins (milk, meat, eggs, nuts, dal), fat (cold pressed oil, ghee, peanut butter) and fiber (methi seeds, flaxseeds, sesame seeds). I traveled to Ranchi to burn her second album just to make sure her diet is on point. Because Ranchi was much colder than Mumbai, coarse grains like bajra, makai and warming spices like garlic along with ghee were used.

We may be ignorant of the powers of Indian foods but the fact is that garlic has been one of the oldest “performance enhancing” products. It is known that Olympic athletes in ancient Greece used to eat it to reduce fat with exercise. Litti chokha, Jharkhand & Chukku Kaapi’s main food, herbal coffee with Indian anti-inflammatory spices was part of her Ranchi diet plan. Taapsee is not the one to introduce the many ‘diet moves’. She loves her food and likes to be sensible about it and this makes my job a lot easier. As far as bodybuilding goes, this is the first time I have included sports products (protein shakes, refreshing drinks, performance boosters, carb loads etc.) in her diet plan because the her role in the film calls for that. However, all the stuff I have planned is completely natural. Taapsee and I were convinced that they were not using prohibited or illegal content solely because of rapid transformation.

Is there food she wants but did you stop her from eating?
Taapsee is the true blue Punjabi from Delhi and she loves the chole bhature. The agreement between me and her is that she would eat one plate full of it by the end of this month when she does a shoot for most of the film.
