According to information received by i24NEWS, the object was handed over from the Syrians to the Russians searching in the area of the al-Yarmouk refugee camp, and the Russians apparently transferred the object to Israel. A source in a Syrian government office tells i24NEWS that it is a personal object belonging to a priest, apparently the remains of some clothing or document.
The Syrian source also added in a conversation with i24NEWS that there is a dispute between Syria and Russia regarding the price to be charged from Israel for each additional piece of information related to the Israeli spy. In the same matter, a Russian source close to the Russian intelligence agency tells i24NEWS that the Syrians provided the Russian soldiers with accurate maps of the search area.
