The Pokemon Company is named Fresh Snap Pokémonrelease date. Earlier today, The Pokemon Company released a new trailer for Fresh Snap Pokémon, the long – awaited sequel to the Nintendo 64 photography game. The new trailer showed off the new Lental section and revealed that the game would be released on April 30th. The new trailer, seen below, shows the player character watching and photographing dozens of Pokemon, featuring a mega-sized Meganium infused with the new surprise “Illumina”. Not only do some Pokémon treat treats like fluffruit, we also see some Pokémon fighting and playing together in the country, just like in the original game.
Last year, The Pokemon Company announced that fans would receive a sequel of Snap Pokémon after years of waiting. Like the original game, players will explore a place full of wild Pokémon while taking pictures of them from the safety of their mobile pod, called NEO-ONE. The game will be set in the new Lental section, and players will explore the wonder of a new Illumina that will make both plants and Pokemon shine. One example of this (showing the Meganium mentioned above) can be seen in a trailer. Over the course of the game, players will build a Photodex of Pokemon, with scores scored based on Pokemon position, how big they appear, how straight they are against you, and their position within the frame. As players take more pictures, they may discover some Pokemon behaving in a different way than they did before. Interestingly, New Pokemon Snap it seems to allow you to record your photos, so you can collect several photos of the same Pokemon doing different tasks.
The trailer also showed off some of the top NPCs that appear in the game. The players will assist Professor Mirror in exploring the Illumina wonder with Rita, Mirror’s research assistant. That trailer also confirmed New Pokemon Snap there will be several player appearance options, an update from the previous game.
New Pokemon Snap just one of several major releases planned to mark the 25th anniversary of Pokemon. Yesterday, The Pokemon Company announced that they were teaming up with Katy Perry and other artists to release new music as part of the P25 Music project, and more games and Pokemon nominations are expected over on the next month or two.
New Pokemon Snap it will be available for pre-orders starting today, January 14th. The game will be released on the Nintendo Switch on April 30, 2021.
