Release date, features, and more

It is safe to say that Assassin ‘s Valhalla Creed exceeded expectations and then some.

The game has become one of the most successful titles to date. Ubisoft took a major creative risk with the post franchise Syndicate and decided to transform the series into an open world RPG.

The result was Assassin’s Creed: Origins, which was well received by fans and has become very popular with fans. The formula was further polarized by the release of Odyssey, and it looked like Ubisoft had finally broken the code on how to develop an open quality RPG in the world.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla built the foundations laid in the previous two games and built on them to a greater extent. The game perfectly balanced the new RPG styles with the series’ root in stealth and combat to a much better level than before.

However, Ubisoft is not yet done with the Eivor story, as there is plenty of new content planned for the game in the coming months.

Following the launch of Valhalla, Ubisoft announced its plans for post – launch content and details about the Season Pass. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gets two major expansions in the form of The Wrath of The Druids and The Seige of Paris.

Extension 1: the wrath of the magicians

In the first of the expansions, Wrath of the Druids, Eivor travels to Ireland and fights a mysterious cult called the Danu Children. As Eivor, the player forms alliances with Gaelic rulers and creates a future for the Raven’s Children in the lands of Ireland.

The expansion looks likely to draw from many awesome elements and make an open adventure in the world.

Extension 2: Paris Siege

One of the most historic moments in Viking history, Assassin’s Valhalla Creed puts Eivor right in the middle of another historic rebirth battle. The Danish invaders now have to lay siege to Paris and form alliances within the walls of Francia.

This opens up a lot of opportunities, and there is no doubt that players are excited to explore Assassin’s Creed returning to France, albeit in a completely different way.

Quarterly Content Details 1

Season 1 content has already started falling into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with the Yule Festival in Ravensthorpe. However, more content will follow in February.

  • New Settlement Area: Players will now have the opportunity to grow another settlement outside Ravensthorpe.
  • Yule Festival: A traditional Scandinavian festival that gets players to experience their settlement. (Available only until January 7)
  • River raids: This builds on the wonderful mechanics of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and delivers an experience that is completely revamped and more challenging. (Release date: February)
  • Standards for Jomsiviking: Players can now level up their sub-boss and get XP. This is a good addition, as Jomsiviking is all currently flat and costing an equal amount across the board. (February)
  • New skills, abilities, weapons and gears: Season 1 includes everything and cosmic stuff.

Season 2 it is expected to drop in March 2021 and bring even more content to the game.
