Xiaomi today (Friday, 8.1) unveiled a new model in its Redmi Note 9 series, which is the first in the series to offer support for 5G networks. God-Redmi Note 9T Is the international version of Shiomi in the series, which is also expected to hit the Israeli market, combining Media-Tech’s Dimensity 800U processor, a triangular photo array, 5G support and a 5000mAh battery.
On the front of the Redmi Note 9T is a 6.53-inch LCD screen, with FHD + resolution and a 1080 × 2340 pixel layout, with the Gorilla Glass 5 protective coating, with the fingerprint sensor located on the home button on the frame of the device. Shiomi also adds splash protection, 3.5mm wired headphone jack, stereo speakers, infrared sensor (IR Blaster) and NFC.
At the top and left of the display, inside a small hole, is a selfie camera with a 13-megapixel sensor with an f / 2.25 aperture key, and beyond the back of the Redmi Note 9T is a triangular photo array, with a 48-megapixel main sensor with autofocus, offering a key Aperture f / 1.79 and 1.6 micron pixels obtained by combining 4 pixels close to 1 to create a 12-megapixel image. Along with the main sensor is also a pair of 2-megapixel sensors with an f / 2.4 aperture key, which are used to take macro photos from a distance of up to 4 cm and for measuring depth for portrait photos with the bokeh effect.
Under the hood, MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chipset is responsible for performance. This is a chip system produced in a 7-nanometer process, with an 8-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.4GHz, which is accompanied by a working memory (RAM) with a capacity of 4 GB, a UFS 2.2 fast storage component with volumes of 64 or 128 GB, with the option Expansion, and 5000mAh battery with 18 watt fast charging support via USB-C connection.

Prices and launch dates
Shiomi will launch the Redmi Note 9T device from January 11, 2021, at which time the date of its launch in the local market in Israel is unknown.
The 64GB version of the device will be offered at a price of 229 euros, while an upgrade to the 128GB version will bring the price to 269 euros.
