Rebel Wilson has changed her health over the past year, and now it looks like she’s doing a career renewal as well.
The 40-year-old Australian actress has landed her first major starring role in the upcoming UK indie film, The Almond and the Seahorse.
She will appear in front of 49-year-old French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, who has won several awards for her acclaimed performances over the years.

According to IMDB, the film is about an archaeologist and architect who, ‘fights to rethink a future after a traumatic brain injury leaves them out of their loved ones’.
The Almond and the Seahorse is based on the play by Kaite O’Reilly, which has been described as ‘gritty’ and ‘absorbing’.
The film is due to start in March 2021 in Liverpool, England and North Wales.

However, in landing a part with the famous French star and taking on such bad stuff, the comedian may be looking for a road to Oscar glory.

Just last month, she proudly announced on Instagram that she had reached her target weight of 75kg (165lbs or 11.8 stone), sharing a picture of the number 74.6 on a scale.
She has also revealed her relationship with the heir of her new boyfriend’s brewing company, Jacob Busch, 29.
Rebel told her fans recently in a Q + A session on Instagram: ‘We set a date before I started any health trip, as well as now. So that shows you, ladies: you don’t have to be a certain size to get a boyfriend. ‘
