Real Madrid are denying claims that they want Hakimi back amid a pay dispute

The Blancos have maintained that the terms of the current Moroccan contract are completely ‘normal’ despite various reports going through in Italy.

Real Madrid have denied claims that they want Achraf Hakimi back in the midst of an alleged pay dispute with Inter.

Hakimi completed a € 40 million (£ 36m / $ 45m) transfer to Inter in the summer transfer window, ending his three-year spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Serie A giants agreed to pay the final fee in four installments of € 10m, the first of which was due in December last year.

The two clubs signed a new agreement pushing the payout date back to March, with Inter struggling financially amid coronary virus infection, but Sports Corriere Dello reported that Madrid are threatening to take legal action over late payment.

The Italian revelation has even said that the Blancos are desperate to cancel the entire contract and re-sign Hakimi, but the reigning La Liga champions have now come out with an official statement to put the record straight.

“With regard to the information released by the Corriere dello Sport regarding alleged tensions between our club and Inter Milan, Real Madrid CF want to make it clear that such reports are completely false,” a statement on club nets reading.

“Real Madrid have never sought an undertaking from Inter Milan, as stated in the announcement.

“The terms of the player’s transfer to Inter are modeled in the normal and normal contractual relationships between football clubs.

“That is especially true in this case with Inter Milan, with whom Real Madrid has always maintained and maintained excellent relationships as a historic and friendly club. ”

Hakimi ‘s agent Alejandro Camano has also fired the reports, he said FCInter1908.it: “I don’t know anything about that.

“We did not receive any calls from Madrid. Achraf is happy at Inter and is only focused on doing his best for Inter.

“His goal is to win with the Inter jersey, and he doesn’t think of anything else.”

Hakimi will be back with controversy for a place in the Inter line when they embark on a trip to Udinese in Serie A on Saturday afternoon.

The 22-year-old has achieved six goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for the Nerazzurri so far, while also relying on six fans for his team-mates.
