Random: Nintendo has a problem with its Joy-Con Switch, and we’re not talking about a drite

Over the years since the Nintendo Switch launched, we’ve seen a huge mix of Joy-Con control changes. With so many colors on the market, you ought to being able to find Joy-Con to express your individual personality.

However, IGN bigwig Peer Schneider has noticed a capture problem – and no, it has nothing to do with moving analog sticks. There are simply too many red colors within the variations sold.

In a recent tweet, Peer shows a picture of the Red Neon, Super Mario Odyssey Red, Splatoon pink and the Joy-Con packaged with the Mario Red & Blue Edition. And we have to admit, it’s all right – they all are on strike like, with just a very slight difference in color between them. It also makes the pretty good point that there are colors in the spectrum that Nintendo hasn’t used for Joy-Con yet – maybe now is the time to do so.

At least peers are happy that the Switch’s UI can tell them apart when they’re in the system. Now that’s nice!

We’re still catching up on the two shades of blue displayed by the Zelda Limited Edition: Skyward Sword Joy-Cons. C’mon, Nintendo. Choose one shade of blue and stick to it.
