Elitzur Ramla or Maccabi Ramat Gan – one of them will tonight (Thursday, 20:00) win the State Basketball Cup for women, which will be held at the Ralph Klein Hall in Yavne. Ramla is looking for a seventh win in its history, while Sarag (or in its former name Ramat Hen) wants a fifth subdivision.
The match will be in the presence of the President of the State, Mr. Reuven (Ruby) Rivlin, who is reaching the women’s final for the first time in the last year of his tenure. The Hope will be sung by Anal Khalifa and Dina Samantha, the two singers of the Shalva band.
Last season, in light of the Corona crisis, the trophy was not awarded to any team, so this is the last final reconstruction of the factory (2018/19) so Ramla defeated Ramat Hen 58:72 and Shira the top, who will of course arrive tonight as Ramla coach.
Ramla of the top song comes as a clear favorite for this game: it is the best team in the league, advanced a step in Europe and defeated the strong Maccabi Ashdod in the semifinals thanks to a great second half, with no less than five players scoring in double digits.
Raj, for her part, managed to overtake Elitzur Holon with 72:81 thanks to a great game by Kayla Hillsman (23 points) and Tal Lev (19). She has already met Ramla in the league this season and only surrendered at the end of a close game, 69:63.
