Rachel Bilson has a small OC reunion with costar Melinda Clarke after she said she is ‘open to relocation’

Rachel Bilson has come a long way since starting as Summer Roberts on the OC.

And a six-time Teen Choice Award winner may be preparing to return to her teenage soap roots.

She recently had a small reunion of OC with cost Melinda Clarke, after she said she would be ‘open to a remake’ of the famous Fox series, which ran for four seasons from 2003 to 2007.

The 39-year-old was standing in a selfie on Instagram with Clarke, 51, as if they seemed to be working on a project together, writing: ‘#FBF ???? waiting for him ….. #eternalsummer #covidsafe ‘

She told E! Last month’s news of the image show: ‘I’d be open to a resume. It is a good memory for me and I am so thankful for it. ‘

Bilson emerged as the wealthy popular Summer girl, who was a best friend to troubled Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) and nerdy favorite Seth Cohen (Adam Brody).

The show featured Ben McKenzie starred as a reformed Ryan Atwood, whose childhood in Chino is turned upside down when his public defender Sandy Cohen (Peter Gallagher) introduces him as part of his family in the upscale Orange County.

Clarke appeared on the show as Marissa ‘s mother, Julie Cooper, who is not so kind to her daughter’ s warm romance with the boy from the wrong side of the scratches.

Bilson commented on her time on the show: ‘My favorite memory of filming The OC was just laughing all the time. I got a job with a lot of funny people.

‘Adam Brody was hilarious and Chris Pratt, when he was on show, was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met in my life.’

She became in a daily relationship with her boyfriend Brody, 41, for three years during the show ‘s run, before breaking up in late 2006.

The Hart of Dixie subsequently had a 10-year relationship from 2007 to 2017 with actor Hayden Christensen, 39, with whom she is a cousin of Briar Rose’s daughter, six.

She recently revealed that she and her family were celebrating Chrismukkah, the Christmas / Hanukkah hybrid of the show that celebrated the Cohens.

Bilson told TooFab: ‘I think it’s so nice. As a kid growing up – my father was Jewish, my mother was raised Catholic – so I was a Chrismukkah family, it’s a lot of fun. I like that the OC is very responsive to people and that people still see it. I think that’s awesome.

‘My daughter learned about Hanukkah in kindergarten and I asked if we have a menorah, so I think it will be fun to start teaching her that and teaching her the word Chrismukkah. ‘
