Meanwhile, new Tikva chairman Gideon Saar is holding a tour of small businesses in Raanana this morning. In a statement to the media, he said: “Yesterday we saw the continuation of the government’s farce on the issue of education. “The government has failed as it has failed at Ben Gurion Airport, in enforcing and protecting businesses. It does not make sense for this to be done improvised, like a gig. It is possible to return to studies gradually, responsibly and differentially.”

In an interview with the GLC, Corona Commissioner Prof. Nachman Ash spoke about the following steps after leaving the quarantine: “We will have to open very carefully. If we open too fast, there will be a jump in morbidity and we may reach large numbers of verified and critically ill patients, despite the vaccine. “There is a growing difficulty because of the British variety, hence the complexity in opening up the economy.”
When asked if political considerations influence decision-making, he replied: “When I look at things, I want the considerations to be purely professional. In this period it is probably impossible and things are mixed. Ultimately decisions are made that I hope are good for lowering morbidity.”

The mayor of Rishon Lezion, Raz Kinstlich (who previously announced his support for Saar), stated in an interview with the GLC that “the outline we received is inapplicable. Right now, we do not know at all what will happen tomorrow. We have about 3,000 children in each age group, A-D is 12,000 children – is there any magician who can take out 12,000 chairs for study outside in one moment? “
