Problems with Xbox Series X controller button? You are not alone

Well, Nintendo and Sony have their drifting joysticks, but Microsoft is currently facing their own set of control issues for this generation, partially advanced Xbox Series X and S from the last generation, and if you get to know them, you are not alone.

Microsoft has identified a persistent problem with unresponsive front buttons on the default Xbox controller:

“At Microsoft, we pass all our products through rigorous quality assurance testing and are committed to providing our customers with a unique gaming experience. We are aware that some gamers may be experiencing non-response with their new Xbox Wireless Controllers and our teams are actively working on a solution. For the best experience, we encourage customers to visit Xbox Support for help. “

So far, there is no solution and you may be able to exchange under warranty, but that process can be a bit tricky. As an example of what’s going on, you can check out this video from Jake on YouTube that shows what an unresponsive Y button looks like in a test:

Arguably, an unresponsive front button is perhaps an overall problem worse than a stream of motion, the main problem with Sony’s PS5 controller, in a minute gameplay, although it’s not clear how wide in which are the button issues. But when they hit, they hit hard:

Since we’re talking about a four-month window since its launch, that’s dona pretty bad.

Microsoft, like Sony and Nintendo, has already filed a class action lawsuit for control issues, but that’s it there were for joystick movement, of course, a less public problem with the Xbox controller, but sometimes one the same. But there is no doubt that they want to address another about button issues, which is why they will try to resolve this in a short order.

This seems to be a pattern among today’s rulers, and it is easy to go through multiple generations in a generation, not because of abuse of any kind, but normal wear and tear. creates problems with the joysticks, battery life or now, the buttons. Even Microsoft’s expensive Elite controllers have made a similar case in the past, so it’s not even a completely new problem.

It is clear that more needs to be done to ensure that these regulators survive as more and more technologies come into play as generations go by. But the basics seem to be the failures, the cheers and the buttons, and there is no end to those issues in sight for any of the top players right now. For Xbox, keep an eye out for possible solutions for this particular button issue.
