Genshin effect developer miHoYo has shared a detailed preview of the upcoming Version 1.2 update that will be released later in the week of December 23rd. That includes the new Dragonspine location on the map, more information about the new Albedo character, and information about the named event and how to find it.
The new Dragonspine area, for example, includes an old under-ice city aptly called the Entombed City, an underground bioluminescent place called Starglow Cavern, and a place colored with the heart of a black dragon. which is Wyrmrest Valley. It’s also worth noting that the new update includes areas that are incredibly cool, which is a new game mechanic that players need to navigate carefully.

The event titled “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” invites players to hit Adventure Rank 20 and complete the Archon quest “For a Tomorrow Without Tears” as well as Quest Story Albedo “Princeps Cretaceus Chapter ”to access it. The event should run through January 12th. “If it weren’t for Sucrose, no one would know that Albedo is hiding a great mystery – one that involves an unknown secret sword and a mountain trapped in ice for thousands of years,” Genshin effect saying about the event.
Genshin effect Available now, free to play, for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices. As mentioned above, the Version 1.2 version of “The Chalk Prince and the Dragon” is ready for release on Wednesday, December 23rd.
