President of the Spanish football federation accused of coercion, fraud and intimidation

The president of the Spanish Football Confederation, Luis Rubiales, has been accused of coercion, fraud and intimidation of the Association of Women’s Football Clubs (ACFF) in violating all rights audio of the main female flight.

The ACFF lodged a complaint alleging that Rubiales and the general secretary of the Spanish Football Association Andreu Camps had launched a “harassment campaign” against the clubs that make up the Liga Iberdrola to gain control of these rights. .

A court in Majadahonda, Madrid, has upheld the complaint and Rubiales will be summoned to court on April 29 while ACFF president Ruben Alcaine will testify on May 14.

The ACFF had already informed the Liga Iberdrola to release their audiovisual rights and the commercialization of these through a public offering made to Mediapro.

An FA statement in Spain said that two courts have already rejected the ACFF’s complaint and intend to dismiss the case again.

“The Spanish Spanish Football Federation trusts the justice system and, as such, it is certain that this complaint will have the same promise as the previous actions,” a statement said.
