Every season couples on The Bachelor try to hide their relationship from the world after recording the final film.
And on Thursday, Laura Byrne took a look at what a lockdown life was like for herself and Matty ‘J’ Johnson before they went public with their romance back in 2017.
Laura, who is now pregnant with the couple’s second child, went on a trip down memory lane and shared photos of the pair that had never been seen before while hiding in NSW.

The 33-year-old remembered how the pair stayed in a small quaint cabin where they drank wine and talked about life plans.
She first shared a sweet photo of her and her beau just after the last rose event was filmed.

‘This is the first picture I have in my phone (I know Matt has a picture or two before though) this was at the time of Bachi’s lock filming our first secret little rendezvous she explained.
Laura then posted an image of Matty J lighting a fire.
‘We stayed in a tiny hut in the middle of now, cooked a lot of food, talked about food products we couldn’t make on display … and drank a lot. bottles of wine. ‘
Another photo showed the pair sharing a steamroller during their last TV date in Thailand.

‘This was our last date in Thailand … I’m sure my mother is glad this didn’t do the editing,’ she titled the knot.

Laura won Matty J’s heart on The 2017 season of The Bachelor and they have been watching family ever since.
The couple’s first child, jewelery designer Marlie-Mae, was born jewelery designer last year. They have also got involved and are planning to get married soon.
Laura is now pregnant with their second child and the couple announced the happy news back in September.
Laura told Essential Baby this month that her boyfriend wants to know if the couple has a boyfriend or girlfriend, but she wants to keep it as a surprise.

‘He really wanted to get out this time, but he went on all sides,’ said Laura.
The pair admired Marlie-Mae’s gender to the day of her birth.
‘I really like to know. Surprise was such a special part of Marlie’s birth! she said.
