The 34th edition of WWE Rumble’s annual pay-per-view is just a day away now. However, it is not wrong to say that the construction of the show has been lower than compared to some of the previous events.
WWE was able to create hype for the men’s Royal Rumble game with a car wreck to close out the home Smackdown. The same cannot be said of the feminine version, who has clearly lacked the excitement and hype he had in the first three years.
Both World title games, starring Kevin Owens and Goldberg, of all people, as rivals to Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre, were well promoted on weekly programs. That’s even though Goldberg’s presence in the World title picture has not received much welcome from fans around the world.
However, given how difficult it is for WWE to surprise fans with exceptional performances after a lukewarm build, it is impossible to rule out Royal Rumble as a disappointing show.
Six games are currently set to appear on this Sunday’s show, including the two 30-beat Royal Rumble Superstar. Here are the predictions for each game on display.
