The Thunder have now lost three games in a row, including one for the Magic less than a week ago. Their last loss was the only bad of the year, as they got the upper hand with the New Orleans Pelicans in the second half and lost by 33.

The Druids were the last undefeated team of the year, but lost their latest game to the Philadelphia 76ers and are now 4-1.

Advice and prediction

The spread makes sense. The Thunder just lost the Magic on Tuesday before 11. That game, however, was without Al Horford and George Hill, and the Thunder’s main areas of struggle were internal defense and 3-point shooting. It’s right up their wheelhouses.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander won just eight points against the Pelicans putting a ton of pressure on him. If Oklahoma City used methods to get out of trouble when doubles teams attack, it should be able to kick back.

Those weird comments from BetMGM aren’t bad at all. If you’re willing to take the risk, there’s reason to think the Thunder can make it a close game.

Prediction: Magic 117, Thunder 111
