PIMCO appoints Kersman internally to head the APAC business

Kersman, who is currently head of strategic accounting for PIMCO’s U.S. Global Wealth Management business, will be based in Hong Kong.

He will replace Kimberley Stafford, who returns to the Newport Beach, California office in mid-year to become head of global product strategy, PIMCO said in a statement.

In an email, a PIMCO spokesman said Stafford and Kersman would start moving immediately but no firm date had been set for Kersman to arrive in Hong Kong.
