Will there soon be fans on the pitches who do not hold a green passport? The Basketball Association is launching an innovative pilot in which the general public will be able to reach the basketball courts about an hour before the game, undergo a quick corona test, the result of which is obtained up to 15 minutes after completion and if the result is negative they can enter the court with the green mark.

The main good news in the pilot is that this way it will also be possible for teenagers up to the age of 16 who are not vaccinated at this stage, to enter the pitches. The pilot will be launched on Thursday the 18th of the month, when the Basketball Association will host a 3 on 3 international tournament, with the participation of 10 teams from Israel and another 2 from abroad, one from Austria and one from Russia.

This is an official international FIBA tournament in which the winners will participate in international tournaments around the world as part of the FIBA World Tour. The Israeli teams that will participate in the tournament are teams from the national league that have already held an official 3-on-3 tournament last summer and the first in Israel since the outbreak of the Corona.
