Pfizer’s vaccine is effective against corona mutations in South Africa and the United Kingdom

A study by Pfizer and a university in Texas found that the vaccine developed by the company is also effective against mutations in the corona virus found in the UK and South Africa.

In the study, 20 blood samples were taken from people who had received the Pfizer-Biontech vaccine. The antibodies developed in these people successfully repelled the virus.

Dr. Philip Dormitzer, Pfizer’s chief scientist, said “it is very encouraging that at least this mutation that worries many in the world does not seem like a problem.”

The antibodies identified in the blood taken from the patients were able to fight the mutation in Petri dishes in the laboratories. The study has not yet been thoroughly reviewed by experts.
