After getting used to receiving one medal every day from the Israeli delegation for the past two days, the third and final day of battles opened this morning (Wednesday) at the Masters tournament in Doha with four Israelis, but three of them finished faster than expected.
Peter Placzyk (Up to 100 kg) is the only hope for a medal from this day after qualifying for the semi-finals, and is now one victory away from reaching the podium. In the quarterfinals, Palchik defeated Russian Armen Admian in Vazari, and in the semi-finals he will face Georgian Lifertliani of Georgia.
Uri Sasson (Over 100kg) opened the day with an iPhone victory over Mongolian Olisebiar Dornbiar, but was knocked out by Tajikistan Timur Rachimov and finished his way into the tournament.
Lee Kochman (Up to 90 kg) was eliminated in the first round after absorbing an iPhone from Lasha in the Georgian Kauri. Raz Hershko (Over 78 kg) decided not to appear in the first fight due to injury and finished her way in the competition.
