Petah Tikva defeated Herzliya, a play by Sims in Ramat Hasharon

Hapoel Bnei Petah Tikva defeated the Herzliya girls 62:64 tonight (Thursday) in the away game, in the main game of the 8th round of the Athena Women’s Basketball League, which was completed after being postponed due to the corona. Elitzur Neve David Ramla is back on the winning track after defeating the champion. Ramat Gan led in the first quarter 13:18 after a basket by Alex Harden. Tiffany Mitchell and Drew Edelman closed out the first quarter at 5:18 p.m. In the second quarter, Edelman raised Ramla to 22:24 and from here a close game continued that closed the first half at 31:32 to Ramat Gan, after a penalty by Eden Rotberg.

AS Ramat Hasharon – Maccabi Ben Banot Ashdod 73:80 (37:38)

Ramat Hasharon came up with only two foreigners and managed to win 73:80 while breaking a chain of 7 consecutive victories for Ashdod. Sims finished with 29 points, 18 rebounds, 9 assists and 50 index points. Maccabi Raanana – Hapoel Rishon LeZion 89:96 (36:50)

Maccabi Raanana managed to break a chain of five consecutive league losses and made good use of the work, whose rival, Hapoel Rishon Lezion, came up to play in an Israeli blue and white team. Awakening in the final minutes of Shay Kelly and Sequoia Holmes gave Elitzur Leica Holon an away victory 66:76 over Maccabi Haifa. Shea Kelly finished with 13 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Sequoia Holmes excelled with an effective final quarter and with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Holon finished the first quarter with a 10:17 advantage. In the second quarter, Courtney Douglas equalized to 17:17 but Sequoia Holmes and Chelsea Hopkins brought Holon down to the half time break with a 26:31 advantage.
