There is no doubt that 2020 was a shaky year for all of humanity. But the vaccines allow us all to see the light at the end of the tunnel and bring the color back to the face. It’s time for some escapism and there is nothing like the color pink to convey cautious optimism.

Yarin Shahaf, a teacher and director of the School of Makeup, Styling and Hairstyles, explains: “These looks are looks I designed for the makeup company im_fashionmakeup for the holidays of December. I do not think it is a ‘wearable’ look, one that women will adopt as a complete look in everyday life. On the other hand, I “I feel that our role as make-up artists is also to inspire certain colors or an interesting makeup style. If they adopt only one or two motifs from the whole look – it is definitely satisfying.”

The color pink is soft and delicate and romantic, on the other hand, it is very easy to lose it and be considered one who refuses to grow up or as a fan of Barbie. When wearing pink, care must be taken not to fall into the sweet trap. Seagull brings us all the tips that are important to know so that you too can adopt the color pink, without being exaggerated.

How do you do it right?

  • To avoid fashionable fuss one should choose contrasting shades. Do not ash the eyes and lips in the same shade of pink.

  • If you suffer from an accumulation of eyeshadow in the crease of the eyelid, a sign that your skin is prone to oiliness. Start by applying concealer as a base over the entire eyelid area and flutter over a little powder. The powder will attach to the oiliness and the eyeshadow you apply after this operation will last for long hours.

  • To avoid excessive look and excess “sweetness”, the cheeks should be ash in shades of rust orange.

  • No matter which texture you prefer – a matte, metallic or shiny finish, the goal is to emphasize the eyes in the most optimistic color available. Try different looks, until you find the right texture for you.

  • Want to create an open and bright eye look? Apply a few coats of mascara and enjoy eyes that look veiled yet natural and fresh.

  • Pearl eyeshadow can be used not only to add illumination at the corners of the inner eyes or under the brow bone – but also when a glow shines.

  • For the lips, use ultra beige-pink shades for demarcation. Draw a thin line around the lips with a body-colored pencil and only then apply the lipstick.
