The moving story that led to the writing of the song was published in the “Defective Dad” community, where Daniel Hazot told about his daughter who fell ill with a rare disease. Since then he has started sharing their journey on social media to expose people and save her life. The father even donated 70% of his liver to his daughter and did everything to help her recover but it did not help, and at the age of 12 she passed away. Ophir was exposed to the story and chose to pass it on with the help of writing. This is how the song was created together with Benjamin and Nadav Assulin. After all this – the song reached Eyal Golan, who chose to take part in it from the first time he listened to it.
The special song is written in two languages - Hebrew and Moroccan, which makes it even more exciting and sad. Eyal and Benjamin’s voice makes it especially powerful, and the beautiful melody helps us enter the world and the story about which the song was written. The beautiful words and their combination with the special melody create an authentic and sweeping performance that only makes us appreciate life more. Totally an exciting single to tears!
