Patos in Chirai signed with Bnei Yehuda until the end of the season

Beginning of an article

After slipping to the last place in the Premier League table, Bnei Yehuda is making efforts to strengthen the staff towards the last line – in an attempt, of course, to survive in the senior league. Rami Gershon, a Maccabi Haifa stopper, is on the verge of a conclusion at the club, and now it is also known that Patos in Chirai has signed a contract until the end of the season.

Bnei Yehuda turned to the striker to strengthen the front. A former Maccabi Netanya player received a contract offer from the Oranges until the end of the season and agreed to it, when his team Wisla Krakow did not intend to stand in his way. The Montenegrin player left Israel last summer after two years in the city of diamonds, and now efforts are being made in Bnei Yehuda to transfer the contracts and the release from the Polish team on time.

In Chirai, it turned out to be a successful acquisition by Maccabi Netanya, when he finished the 2018/19 season as deputy king of Premier League goals with 13 conquests (only Ben Shehar scored more). The 32-year-old has made more than 70 appearances for the Montenegro national team, scoring ten goals.

In another matter, following the events during the loss game to Hapoel Kfar Saba, in which the confrontation between owner Barak Abramov and referee Snir Levy, Bnei Yehuda was fined NIS 10,000. Three charges were filed against Bnei Yehuda – failure to provide protection to the referee of the game, unsportsmanlike conduct and violation of the association’s rules and regulations.
