Actor Ranbir Kapoor is all set to star in the next Animal Kabir Singh film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The makers of the crime drama recently made a video announcing the film on social media. The film also features Parineeti Chopra, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in lead roles.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Parineeti plays Ranbir’s wife in the film. While Anil Kapoor is seen in the role of Ranbir’s father. “Parineeti plays Ranbir’s wife, but Anil Kapoor plays his father, who is an emperor of all kinds in his line of business,” a published source said, without revealing much into basic details of the film.
“It’s a gangster-rooted drama, with emotions, revenge and darkness, but much more than a life in terms of handling. The idea is to take it on platforms around June, but it all depends on Ranbir’s other job responsibilities, such as his release calendar as well, ”the source added.
Desiring to start filming, Ranbir recently said, “Through the pandemic, we have all had time to introduce and select films that are close to our hearts. So when Sandeep told the story, I became close to the character and wanted to do the part right away. I really appreciate both of his films and look forward very much to our creative collaboration. “
