Actor Justin Timberlake’s Palmer’s trailer is out. The film marks Timberlake’s return to acting after a gap of three years. Fisher Stevens’ lead director will also feature Ryder Allen, Alisha Wainwright, June Squibb, and Juno Temple.
In Palmer, Timberlake plays Eddie Palmer, a man who returns to normal life after serving 12 years in prison. The ensuing crime and punishment also made his football career.
And now he’s back in society. He also makes contact with a young boy, though he gets a bit of a nap from how the baby gets over girly stuff.
Palmer seems to be a story of repurchase. We don’t know what crime Eddie Palmer committed (to see if he deserves freedom), but the film hits the right note.
Justin Timberlake, who hasn’t done a bad job, is looking to do a great job here, although he admits, it’s not particularly appropriate to judge a film based on just a trailer.
The official summary states, “After 12 years in prison, former high school football star Eddie Palmer returns home to put his life back together – and he does a connection unlike Sam, a boy out of a troubled home. But Eddie’s story threatens to ruin his new life and family. ”
Palmer will first appear on Apple TV + on January 29th.
