Overwatch Reaper experimental patch buffs, Orisa and Winston, nerfs Wrecking Ball

The latest Overwatch test piece is live and the changes change some heroes in a big way. The changes appear small, but the balancing effects are large. This time, Reaper, Orisa, Winston, and Wrecking Ball were identified by Blizzard as heroes who need a little testing!

Let’s admit the changes:

Orisa- Daingnich

Preventing headache damage is crucial while the effect is active

Developer comment: This will make Fortify more reliable in preventing large explosions of incoming damage and should help it feel more consistent as a defensive capability.

For Orisa, Fortify gets a main buff. It may look small, but the size of Orisa’s head has been one of her biggest weaknesses. With Fortify preventing critical head-on damage, Orisa gets unparalleled opportunities to withstand the fire of focus and Heroes who rely heavily on headbands.

Reaper – Hellfire Shotguns

Distribution reduced from 8 to 6

Reduce damage per project from 7 to 6

Developer comment: Reaper guns have great damage potential but require close range or large targets for full use. We try to smooth this out by expanding the range in which it can consistently deal damage while minimizing maximum damage per bullet.

Newspaper is always characterized by close-range combat and massive explosion damage. However, this serial design makes its effectiveness either extremely robust or near useless depending on the enemies it faces. These changes to his main fire make it more reliable for Reaper to hit further targets – a big buff that could make Reaper a more reliable DPS pick.

Winston – Weapons

Weapons / Base Health was redistributed from 100/400 to 150/350

Developer comment: With this change, Winston will be a little more resistant to guns, ammunition, and weapons with a high level of fire.

A good Winston player knows just how far they can push their survival level before they have to return or make a defensive move. The ability to do this becomes much more difficult when Winston gets a ton of explosive damage at the same time, so more weapons have become a big buff to Winston’s master plan game.

Ball Wrecking – Claw Grappling

Reduce backyard strength by 25%

Developer comment: For as often as it can happen, a Wrecking Ball hit may be too strong. We reduce the speed it moves enemy players to bring it more in line with other cooldown low drag abilities.

Wrecking Ball is a split hero. You hate playing against it or you like to play like it. Moreover, Wrecking Balls base CC and knock are incredibly effective in annoying the enemy team and this riot is over if one does not know how to deal with it .

Reducing Knockback strength on a Grappling Claw is a big step towards balancing the most polarizing quality of Wrecking Ball.
