The pleasant weather took hundreds of thousands of hikers to nature sites and beaches this weekend. Rain is also expected in the coming days and on Wednesday the first rain of the season is possible.

She announced that in the Finger Ridge in the Mount Carmel Reserve, her men rescued a 65-year-old hiker from Zichron Yaacov, after suffering from general weakness and not being able to finish the route. In addition, police volunteers rescued a 47-year-old woman from a kibbutz in the center of the country near Kibbutz Yaron, who was walking with her family in the river, suffering from chest pain and exhaustion. Paramedics from the unit gave her first aid, she was carried on a stretcher journey by the rescuers out of the creek, where an MDA ambulance was waiting for her and evacuated her for further tests at the hospital.

The second rescue carried out by the volunteers was a 62-year-old walker from Petah Tikva who was walking with her family and suffering from exhaustion.

The pleasant weather is expected to continue in the coming days as well. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Service in Beit Dagan, tomorrow (Sunday) there will be a drop in temperatures and it will be clear with partly cloudy. But on Tuesday in the mountains and inland there will be a rise in temperatures and they will be slightly higher than normal for the season.
