Options for anyone returning to Israel: Remotely at a hotel or spending BRACELET ELECTRONIC

The Israeli parliament has approved a law that prescribes electronic bracelets for everyone who enters Israel who needs quarantine as a result of the coronavirus.

The new law says that people sent to quarantine at home must have their tracking bracelet checked to ensure compliance.

If they refuse, they must quarantine in a state-run hotel. Exceptions will be made for children under 14, and other humanitarian matters.

Currently, everyone entering the country has to be lonely, unless they can provide a vaccination certificate, or a certificate issued by the country ‘s health ministry that show that they have recovered from the disease.

Those who have been vaccinated or who have been vaccinated abroad can be released from quarantine if they are tested to test their antibody levels.

The controversial requirement agreed a final vote in the Knesset 4-1 on Wednesday, with only five of the 120 members of parliament voting on the bill. Critics, including the same dissenting lawyer, said it violates the privacy of individuals.

For several weeks, electronic devices have already been used voluntarily to ensure that people do not break quarantine.

The bill states that private companies will execute the program on behalf of the government, with all information stored in servers by the government, but maintained by the companies.

A person’s data will be deleted at the end of the quarantine period, as long as there is no report of a breach, or within 30 days.

The private companies will notify the government if it appears that the person has left their home where they should be quarantined.

The bracelet cannot collect any other information about the wearer, unless they comply with their quarantine, according to the Jerusalem Post who spoke to SuperCom president and Commander Trabelsi Order.

The devices will not monitor a person’s place if they break the quarantine order, but will alert the authorities if the person has left the area they were supposed to leave.

At the same time, the country’s Supreme Court struck a series of measures restricting the entry and exit of Israeli citizens from the country, saying those borders were illegal.

The rules restricting the number of people entering the country each day to 3,000, and requiring those without vaccinations to get permission from the country’s exit committee, will end on Saturday. and cannot be updated.

As Israel’s vaccination program continues to lead the world in terms of the percentage of the population infected, severe cases of coronavirus fell bellow 600 for the first time from December, according to his health ministry.

Currently, 578 patients are in critical condition, of which 269 are in critical condition while 202 are on ventilators.

Israel has now dispensed 109.79 doses of Covid-19 vaccines for every 100 people, meaning it has dispensed more doses than people in the country. In comparison, the UK has given 39.04 doses per 100 people.

A total of 9,502,677 doses have been administered, out of a population of approximately 8.6 million, and more than four million citizens are eligible for a green coronavirus passport that will allow admission to restaurants, gyms and homes -play, and which exempts guards from quarantine.

Individuals are eligible for the passports if they are protected against the crown virus, meaning that they have received two doses of the vaccine, or have recovered from the disease.

‘We’ll see how effective the vaccine is, and how dangerous the coronavirus can be,’ Health Minister Yuli Edelstein tweeted on Wednesday. ‘We already see some places open only to green travelers – isn’t it a shame that you’ve left?’

Meanwhile, Israel has caused 6,048 deaths as a result of the coronavirus, and a total of 822,703 cases. Of a total of 72,600 tests taken since Tuesday night, with 2.1 percent coming back positive – the lowest in the country since December.

The Palestinian Authority said Wednesday it will receive about 60,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine over the next 48 hours, the first consignment of a World Health Organization partnership aimed at helping poor countries.

Those are just enough doses to vaccinate 31,000 people out of a population of nearly 5 million Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza.

Israel, which has opposed criticism for not sharing more of its resources with the Palestinians, has already vaccinated 5 million people – more than half their population – and largely reopen their economy.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health estimated Kamal al-Shakhra that authorities would receive 38,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and 24,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine. The AstraZeneca vaccines will be held until the WHO recently reviews safety concerns.

An Israeli security official confirmed the shipment, which arrived at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport, and said about a third of the vaccines would be sent to Gaza on Wednesday. The officer spoke on condition of anonymity in accordance with rules.

These are the first doses reached through the WHO COVAX initiative, a global humanitarian partnership that has been slow to go off the ground, with a shortage of money and supplies as rich countries have progressed with the -their vaccine campaigns.
