Operation “Give a shoulder”: 800,000 Israelis have already been vaccinated in Corona

At the same time, the Ministry of Health published this morning the updated disease data, which shows that 5,253 people were diagnosed as carriers of the virus out of 96,835 test results received – the positive rate of all tests is 5.5%. As of this morning the number of active patients stands at 42,402 and 1,093 people are hospitalized in the various corona wards.

The number of patients hospitalized in critical condition in hospitals stands at 639 as of this morning, of whom 165 are respirated. Nine people died yesterday after falling ill in Corona, and since the outbreak of the plague, 3,314 people have died in Israel.

The National Health and Medicines Authority announced this morning that the Israeli vaccination campaign continues to be the world leader. All the responses appeared within the recommended supervision time frame and everyone fully recovered. ”

The Information and Knowledge Center also notes that around 5.1 million people have been vaccinated worldwide so far, with 3.9 million of them vaccinated with Western vaccines, adding that “probably the new British mutation will not impair the effectiveness of the vaccines they have developed.”

Meanwhile, in light of the national increase in morbidity, and after approval has been obtained from the political echelon, the IDF Medical Corps will prepare for the reopening of the “IDF Crown” department at the Rambam Medical Campus in Haifa. The department is expected to open next week, and will be managed and operated by the medical corps with the hospital, based on the existing infrastructure in it.
