Omri Cohen, CEO of Mashen, has been appointed a member of the board of directors at the Port of Haifa

The CEO of the sheltered housing network, Mashan Omri Cohen, has been appointed a member of the company’s board of directors Port of Haifa.
Cohen (60) has served since 2018 as CEO of Mashan, which includes 9 sheltered housing units and 3 youth villages. Marketing director at the government company Tamam, CEO of the International Leadership Institute and more.

Cohen holds a master’s degree in business administration. The Haifa Port Board of Directors has 5 members, headed by Chairman Eshel Armoni. Additional members of the Board of Directors: Lizzie Singer, Assaf Rapeld and Natalie Or Chen.

This is probably one of the last appointments to the board made by the Government Companies Authority. The port is currently in an advanced process of selling control of it to a strategic investor. As part of the procedure, about 10 different groups from Israel and abroad approached to compete for the purchase of the port.

His letter of appointment to the Haifa Port Board of Directors was signed by the CEO of the Government Companies Authority, Adv. Yaakov (Yankee) Quint, and was approved by the senior committee chaired by Judge Glaur.
