He added: “We have succeeded in bringing about achievements and changing the status of Arab citizens as a legitimate and central player in Israeli politics. In the last election campaign, we increased our power and prevented Netanyahu from forming a narrow right-wing government.
“Now everyone wants our votes, because the right understands that it cannot with us and the center-left understands that it is impossible without us. But history teaches that no one will give us our rights, we will take them – equality out of power.”
Odeh wanted to emphasize to the voters: “Only a joint vote will strengthen the voice of the Arab citizens in the Knesset against the right, and promote peace, equality and democracy for all citizens of the country, Arabs and Jews.”
In summing up his remarks, the chairman of the list referred to the immunization campaign against Corona and called on the public to get vaccinated “to make it easier for the medical staff and get back to normal. We all take responsibility, get vaccinated and vote. “
