Maccabi Tel Aviv’s game against Wheelerban has been postponed, but the Euroleague does not stop. Valencia opened the evening (Friday) with 68:77 at Moscow Khimki and left themselves a chance in the fight for the playoffs, Oded Katash and Panathinaikos continue to sink with another disappointing loss, this time 86:82 after the Israeli coach was sent off in an 11-point lead for his team. Andulo already led by 15 towards the end of the first half, but Bayern, who enjoyed excellent ability from Vladimir Lučić (18 points), presented an impressive comeback. It all came down to the final move of the game so the ball went to Shane Larkin who tried to score in the playoffs to complete a turnaround, but Nick Wheeler Bab provided a nice block and prevented him from doing so. Vasilya Mitchic led Argin Atman’s team with 19 points including 5 from 7 to 2.

Himki (26: 3) – Valencia (14:16) 77:68
The Bats were close to losing the 16-point lead they gained in the second quarter, but provided a 5:21 run late in the third quarter and early fourth to secure a second straight and fifth victory in the last seven games and are now tied for Zenith in eighth place with the same number of wins.

Derrick Williams led Valencia with 18 points including 7 of 8 for two and Mike Toby also provided a good game of 12 points and nine rebounds. The Russians were again led by Jordan Mickey with 20 points, but he failed to prevent a third straight loss and 19 in 20 games.

Milan (11:19) – Barcelona (8:22) 72:56
The Catalans have secured their place in the playoffs and can enjoy until the money time of the season kicks off. Until the middle of the second quarter this game was still close, but Barça ran away very quickly and turned the second half into one big Garbage Time. Nikola Mirotic provided 15 points including 4 from 5 for 2, and Avon Shields stood out with 10 points to spare.
