Nokia Corp. said. Monday announced that it has entered into a contract in Thailand with mobile operator tac to provide 5G services in the north and northeast of the country.
The telecom equipment manufacturer said, as part of the agreement, which is an extension of Nokia’s partnership with Thailand, it will ensure the 5G operator’s network performance is ready and accelerate 5G services.
The agreement is expected to last three years and service deployment is expected to be completed in 2022, the company said.
Nokia will also provide support with their AirScale Radio Access solutions for 4G and 5G networks, which want to improve the overall performance of the network, he said.
As part of the deal, the Thai telecommunications company will also use Nokia’s network management system, the company said.
