Two suspects in placing a stun grenade in front of the home of footballer Omar Atzili’s parents have been arrested, the publication was allowed today (Sunday). The grenade did not explode, there were no casualties and no damage was done.
The police investigation into the matter began about two weeks ago, with the receipt of complaints of harassment, extortion and finally, as mentioned, the placement of a stun grenade near the house of a noble man in Holon. The incident took place about two weeks ago, against the background of the signature of a nobleman in the Maccabi Haifa football team. The two suspects are fans of the team, and recently many of them protested against his signing, due to his involvement in the affair of having sex with minors, for which he left the Maccabi Tel Aviv team.
The suspects are residents of Tel Aviv and Ashkelon in their 20s and 30s. At the home of one of the detainees, the police also seized hundreds of grams of the suspect’s substance as marijuana. The two were brought in for questioning. Extend their detention.
