No stopping: Brady signed for another season at Tampa Bay

Beginning of an articleOne of the greatest sports careers in history will write another chapter: Today (Friday) Tampa Bay Bakers announced that Tom Brady, the 43-year-old quarterback, has signed a contract for another season with the NFL champion. Brady will start the 21st season of his career, and will try to achieve his eighth Super Bowl win. If he continues for another season, beyond the upcoming one, he will become the oldest quarterback in the history of the U.S. Football League.

As you may recall, almost a year ago – on March 12, 2020, Brady surprised when he left the New England Patriots after 19 years and signed with Tampa Bay – and led them, in his first season in the team uniform, to winning the last Super Bowl after defeating reigning champions Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Humus, 9:31. With this win, Brady became the man to win the most NFL titles, and even bigger than any team – his seven wins, compared to the six of the New England champion and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

As mentioned, this will be the 21st season in the career of the California-born superstar. In 2000 he came to the league, after four years at the College of Michigan, and was drafted by the Patriots – which he led in one season to the Super Bowl, and then won with it five more times, until his departure. Brady also won the Super Bowl MVP title five times, Three more times in the MVP of the season.Now, he will try to continue his journey to be one of the greatest athletes ever, and maybe even add another win to his resume.
