And with all international competitors getting a mandatory 14-day quarantine, it didn’t take too long until some started complaining about the living standards – Novak Djokovic being one of them.

And apparently his girlfriend Bernard Tomic wasn’t overjoyed either.

Former Love Island Australia star Vanessa Sierra took to social media to share her loneliness experience with her fans.

“There is only one bathroom and I have never popped in front of Bernard before,” she said on her YouTube channel.

“I don’t know what to do. It’s the third day. I can’t do it up front. I haven’t broken that barrier in the relationship yet.

“Ahis is the worst part of quarantine. I don’t wash my own hair – I’ve never washed my own hair.

“It’s not just something I do. I usually have hairdressers who do it twice a week for me.

“This is the situation we’re dealing with. I can’t wait to get out of quarantine just so I can do my hair.”

Kyrgios couldn’t bite his tongue (you can’t blame him) and decided to share his views on the matter.

“Djokovic is a tool,” Kyrgios simply said via Twitter.

And with over 14,000 appearances in less than 12 hours, it looks like there is a fairly large proportion of people who agree with an Aussie tweet.

Sierra told her fans that she was spending all her money on takeaway food because the food in athletes’ hotels is “s ** t.”

“They weren’t really doing much. There’s really no place for training,” she said in the video.

“Even if you want to do homework it’s very tight for a place, so we do minimal yoga to keep it safe but other than that we don’t train or anything.

“I played Pokemon for 11 hours just yesterday and I think 12 hours just the day before.

“Bernard has been playing World of Warcraft for about the same time I’ve been playing Pokemon. Today we’re going to download Yu-Gi-Oh!

“I haven’t watched a lot of movies but yeah, it’s kind of what we have as an option.”

As for the Australian Open, that is yet to happen on February 8 with event organizers working hard to make sure all athletes are safe while staying Down Under.
