Jeremy Renner has shared a new set photo from Hawkeye sets, a Disney + series about an MCU superhero as well as his protégé, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), who could accept the Hawkeye title once Clint releases Barton resigned.
Bishop is an archer superheroine who has taken Hawkeye costumes in comics, and was the first woman to do so. Clint Barton, the original Hawkeye, works as her mentor.
Renner shared the picture with the caption, “Have a great day. ”

Pictured is Renner with a quilt bearing the SHIELD emblem. Hawkeye used to work for SHIELD (Strategic Risk Intervention Logistics Directorate – a counter-terrorism and intelligence agency) before having to flee law enforcement and lying low after Captain America: events Civil War.
Appearing in the Disney + series, Clint is back with SHIELD
Amber Finlayson, Katie Ellwood and Rhys Thomas direct the series and Jonathan Igla is the lead writer on the series.
Hawkeye was earlier going to release in fall 2020, but that was before the coronavirus pandemic. Now, it is expected to start streaming in late 2021 or early 2022.
