Today: Teaching staff are stored
HMOs are preparing to vaccinate all teaching staff in the education system in Operation Bezeq. The operation, dubbed “Returning to Life in Education”, has already been launched and vaccination registration forms have already started being sent to all education and teaching staff. The good news is that not only the teachers will be vaccinated, but the entire school staff that also includes daycare caregivers, assistants, secretaries and house fathers.
The education system has about 200,000 teaching staff. In the first phase, the vaccines will be given to teaching staff and education staff who also teach during the closure period, ie special education staff, at-risk youth and boarding schools. At the same time, the Ministry of Education will issue a notice to all teaching staff and education staff for registration for the vaccine.
In order to receive the vaccine, the teaching staff must make an appointment at the HMO and arrive with an employee certificate from the Ministry of Education or with a pay slip. Teaching teams that do not have a certificate of employment will appear on a designated list of the ministry, and thus will be eligible for the vaccine.
