New Apple Leak confirms powerful MacBook update

Apple’s plans to roll out the new Apple Silicon processors across the MacBook family continue, with the latest report highlighting the next Macs according to the ARM-powered update along with the new screen technology that will be packaged. -into the power laptops.

The detail comes from renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and is covered by MacRumors ’Joe Rossignol. The report brings several results into focus for 2021 (Apple’s entry into the consumer geotag market with AirTags). Bit is the confirmation of the plans around the new Mac devices worth noting.

During last year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple confirmed that it would move the entire product range away from Intel to use ARM-based Apple Silicon. The first Macs using an M1 processor were launched last year. The MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini were at the bottom end of Apple’s package in terms of power, but the overall benchmarks of those Macs put them far ahead of devices like Windows 10.

Next up for the Apple Silicon update will be the 16-inch MacBook Pro and the higher-specced MacBook Pro. The 16-inch MacOS laptop already has a small redesign of the screen to reduce the bezel size compared to the 15-inch laptop it was replacing.

This should be a pretty easy change after the MacBook Air and the lowest release of the MacBook Pro model at the end of 2019. The latter includes a lot of user feedback and data about app usage and performance, especially under the Rosetta 2 statement. That should allow the most expensive laptops to launch with concerns about app support through reduced emulation.

If Apple makes the expected turnaround to mini-LED screens with their larger contrast, brighter colors, and smaller battery applications, then the MacBooks 2021 may bring an update to the usual tired designs of the macOS laptops.
