Nets are not expected to see Draymond Green in opener vs Warriors

The wounded beast has gripped the Golden State Warriors as hard as anyone in recent years. After losing both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson to major injuries in the 2019 NBA finals, Steph Curry had his own issues in 2019-20 while Thompson lost the entire season. As the Warriors prepare to face the Nets, they must not only do so without Thompson (Achilles) but also Draymond Green.

Green handles gentle muscle pressure in his right leg, according to ESPN’s Nick Friedell. As a result, Green is skeptical for the NBA ‘s opening game, his first against Durant since his former Warriors team-mate left Golden State for Brooklyn.

Thompson already preferred nets. With Green down, too, this should be an easy win for Brooklyn.
