Hollywood star Keanu Reeves brings his comic book series “Brzrkr” to the screen.

Actor “John Wick” has teamed up with Netflix to transform an animated film and anime series into a BOOM! Studios comedy series.

Reeves had launched the comics, written by New York Times graphic novelist Matt Kindt in July 2020.

The 56-year-old actor will headline the feature film first, followed by the anime series, in which he will voice his character, Netflix said in a statement.

“Brzrkr” (pronounced “berserker”) is based on a violent demigod who has roamed the earth, searching for answers about his existence.

“The man known as B is only half-dead and half-God, cursed and raped to violence … even at the sacrifice of his salvation. But after traveling the world for centuries, B may have finally found refuge – working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violently and too dangerously for anyone other.

“On the other hand, B will be awarded the only thing he wants – the truth about living with non-stop blood … and how to end it,” read the official line.

Reeves will be leading the projects with Ross Richie and Stephen Christy for BOOM! Studios and Stephen Hamel for Company Films. Adam Yoelin will be an executive producer.

The actor recently completed filming for “Matrix 4” and will resume the fourth installment of the “John Wick” franchise.
